Much fun! Lot of walking, chocolate, waffles some beer (I don't really like beer, but the Lambic kind was pretty yummy o_o). Everything is so pretty and detailed. It was strange seeing people drink beer at every meal and at 7:45am. I loved out stay in Amsterdam and Bruges, but Brussels not so much. It was more down-town city like and had all the things that come with it (traffic noise, car exhaust, etc.). Anyway, I'm glad to be home but sad that we had to leave so early. Clint and I decided to not go with a tour group and plan everything out. It's crazy how convenient their public transportation is. Even their international trains are really convenient and efficient.
We visited The Chocolate Line where they have all these strange chocolates. I tried the following weird-filled chocolates:
1. Curry (yucky DX...I like curry, but...this was just a nasty combination)
2. Vinegar (strange)
3. Wasabi (surprisingly good)
4. Onion (tastes like chips and chocolate, but pretty good)
5. Tomato (tastes like spaghetti and chocolate, lol)
6. Pear/Vodka (good and alcoholy)
7. Orange (yummy)
8. Passionfruit (yummy)
9. Dried, glazed orange slice covered in chocolate (yummy)
I think there were others, but these stood out in my head.
